Staffed Family Child Care Network Membership Agreement – City of Hartford Region 2 North Central

The purpose of this Membership Agreement is to understand the expectations and opportunities available to members of the Staffed Family Child Care Network. The Collaboration between provider members and the Staffed Family Child Care Networks who support them will work to achieve and improve operational stability and service quality. The goal of membership is to access resources on quality child care, quality improvement opportunities, peer to peer support, professional development, and to have the opportunity to develop long term professional relationships and sustainable business practices.

Roles and Responsibilities of Network Provider Members:

  • Participate in Network membership meetings.
  • Attend Network training sessions.
  • Access specialized services highlighted and offered by the Staffed Family Child Care Networks as needed.
  • Promote the value of membership in Regional Networks among other early childhood education providers.
  • Provide feedback and information to Network to improve their service delivery and inform planning efforts.

Roles and Responsibilities of Staffed Family Child Care Network:

  • Offer Communities of Practice sessions.
  • Promote networking and relationship-building among Network Members.
  • Support Network Members in accessing and using the OEC’s Early Childhood Professional Registry (www.ccacregistry.org).
  • Support Network Members in accessing and using the tools, templates and other resources available in ctSHARES.
  • Conduct surveys to modify or improve network offerings.
  • Offer Business Training to Network Members designed to improve Network Member business sustainability.
  • Support members in obtaining or maintaining a license.
  • Connect members to statewide services (CACFP, WBDC, C4K, etc.).
  • Support providers in becoming nationally accredited through NAFCC.
  • Provide Quality Improvement Services(QIS) service navigation to members.
